Shingeki no Kyojin (Attack on Titan), episode 5. Spoilers.
by Sindar From
Ok, first of all, watch the episode. Before you read on, just go and watch it. It is worth it.
Seriously, watch it before reading.
Ok, I assume that all of you who still read this have watched the episode already. Now, what do you think of it? I mean, the last episode had crazy ending, but this one went even further.
At the start of the episode Eren touches that big red titan with his blade and it acts like a big baloon. It just goes puff and disappeares. Now we know that the biggies can teleport and then go back, or die without a trace.
Also we learned that Titans can only be killed by being stabbed in the back of the neck.
And now. [Last spoiler alert] The protagonist, Eren, just lost a leg and an arm and then, apparently, died. Surprised? Me too.
There are some different ways the story can go now. Eren can magically survive or he can die. The second option is really bizarre and if that is will happen, than next protagonist will be his sister, I assume. Now, if he survives, then there are also two ways it can happen. By some logical event (someone kills the titan and save Eren) or by some magic. If it will be a logical event, then Eren will be an invalid, without a leg and an arm. He will probably get some mechanical replacements (hello you FMA fans over there). now, if there will be some magic involved, than in can go the shonen way. Eren can get a special power for no reason. People will get mad if that happens. Or, the last option is that something bizarre happens that is unpredictable by logic.
And now I have nothing more to say. Let’s look at Armin Arlert who barely survived the episode and now has a chance to become the new main character.
See you next week. (^_^)/
