Winners of BTVA Anime Dub Awards 2012

Let’s congratulate the winners of BTVA Anime Dub Awards! As I expected Hellsing OVA did won the Best vocal ensemble in an anime television series/OVA nomination and Crispin Freeman did won Best male lead vocal performance in an anime television series/OVA with his role of Alucard in Hellsing OVA.

  • Shelley Calene-Black as Hamyuts Meseta from The Book of Bantorra (Best female lead)
  • Paul Dobson as Naraku from InuYasha: The Final Act (Best male supporting vocal performance)
  • Jamie Marchi as Uzume from Sekirei: Pure Engagement (Best female supporting vocal performance)

The winners in the movies/specials section:

  • Marc Diraison as Guts from Berserk: The Golden Age Arc I – The Egg of the King (Best male lead)
  • Emily Neves as Inga from Un-Go: Episode 0 (Best female lead)
  • J David Brimmer as Zodd Nosferatu from Berserk: The Golden Age Arc I – The Egg of the King  (Best male supporting vocal performance)
  • Stephanie Young as Katherine Turner from King of Thorn (Best female supporting vocal performance)

    • Yeah, he did =) There wasn’t much of a competition for him. Now if they try to make an award “the best voice of the decade”, that would be interesting. Yong Bosch and Steven Blum would give him hard time there, though Crispin may still win.
