Violence Jack 2 – “Evil Town”, uncut version

I want to make a short post about the second Violence Jack OVA. Most that should be said about the series I have written in  my post about the first OVA. Here I want to talk about the difference between the first and the second episodes. But before I do that I want to warn all my readers that this anime have or should have age restriction, as it contains scenes of extreme violence, pornography, swearing and convey ideas that may not be not suitable for kids. If you are not 18, you, probably, should not watch the show. Even if you are older than that, there is no reason for you to watch it.

Violence Jack OVA 2 Jack himself

That is the main character, Violence Jack. He looks a little more like a human here. Not much, though.

The first major difference from the first episode is that Jack is actually talking and expressing ideas here. He even tries to protect certain characters. Though he kills one of the people he tried to save, and he did it for no reason. But no one commented on this fact.

The second difference is that this episode has something, that can be called a “happy end”. In last episode Jack killed lots of people, and that was the whole point. There was only one girl left, who’s boyfriend was killed, thanks to Jack. Here there were some survivors, whom Jack actually helped. Looks like a progress to me.

Violence Jack OVA 2 The antagonist, Mad Saurus

The antagonist, Mad Saurus. Looks as ugly as ever.

Also there was a weird moment, when the antagonist ate a human body and transformed into some sort of monster. That was kind of random.

Anyway, if it wasn’t for AWO podcast I would have watched this anime. And I do not recommend you to watch it, unless you are interested in anime history and want to feel what it was like 25 years ago. Hope I will write about something nicer next time. See you (^_^)/
