If the title of this post made you excited, then you are a better fan than me. But on the other hand, I was prepared for a flashback filler, so I wasn’t disappointed. Also, this episode featured team 10 plus Naruto combination, which was interesting.
I will start with a big spoiler. In this episode Naruto did not eat ramen, even though he had a chance. Yes, tat really happen. That day will be remembered forever.
The episode was about Naruto running through the forest and stumbling upon a reincarnated Samurai, who turned out to be his acquaintance from on of the missions he did before the Shippuden started.
Before the flashback starts Naruto talks a little with Karui. He mentioned that she beat him yesterday, which makes me wonder who is gone crazy there. After Karui beat Naruto Naruto went to the Kage meeting, then went after Sasuke, then went to have his training with Killer B, then went to the war. That should have taken weeks. I will put it to be a subtitles mistake.
Flashback was about a mission that Naruto and the team 10 got. The mission was to retrieve a kidnapped price to his homeland. During the mission Naruto had to switch places with the prince and while Choji was creating a distraction by winning a food contest, or so they said.
The contest was the best part of the episode. Especially I liked the part when they announced that the next serve will be barbecue and Choji’s eyes started to shine and they put in that battle music:
Besides all that comedy stuff, this episode showed us some Akatsuki activity. Deidara and Sasori met Kakazu and Hidan.
From their dialog and from the preview for the next episode I guess that next time we might see the famous deed of Sasori. You remember they said that Sasori was able to conquer a nation with his puppets? There is a chance that they will show us this historical event. Here is the preview for the next episode, see for yourself:
One last thing about the episode. There was this scene where Tatewaki was teaching the prince how to fight with katana. There was a moment when he deliberately hit him on the wrist. I just want to tell you. If the man who teaches you sword fighting hits you on wrist, get rid of him, that is a worthless teacher. You won’t be able to master the sword with him, all you will get is a permanent injury.
On that happy note I am finishing this post. Hope we will see those fillers to the end together. See you (^_^)/
