That episode at least tried to blend in with the story. The idea of the episode was that when Kabuto was gathering his undead army, he reanimated a lot of useless people by mistake. As he said, you can’t always tell the identity when you are dealing with dead bodies (such a good theme for a kid-friendly show ^_^ ). And now he decide to use them to retrieve the sealed undead.
The episode was “action” packed. Well, in fact, all those useless shinobi were beaten pretty easily. But before that they had talked with their relatives, you now how it is, we have seen it more than once.
Besides showing us how that super weak undead army was beaten, there were a lot of Kabuto and Orochimaru flashbacks. I am perfectly fine with that, Orochimaru and Kabuto both are more interesting to watch than random dead or not yet dead shinobi.
Also, in this episode they made it seem that Kabuto reanimated lady Chiyo by mistake. So nice of them to make fun of the dead old woman. They also made fun of Temari, which was almost funny. They make her meet a boy who annoyed her when they were children. Then he died in a mission and now he used his chance to tell her that he loves her. What did Temari do? She smacked him, being the tsundere she is.
I like how little she cares about her old mate. “Like the unremarkable C-rank mission where you lost your life, your name is unknown”. Way to cheer the guy up xD What else did she say?
“When I heard that you died I was sad.”
“Did you cry for me?”
“No, I didn’t cry ^_^”
I always thought that there is something wrong with the sand village and people who live in it =) And sorry for the misleading title of the post, I am just making fan of this dumb episode. And here is the preview for the next episode:
Next episode is going to be about a fight between this reanimated Danzo’s bodyguard and Shino, which makes some sense. Btw, I have no idea how this guy have his bugs, they should have been left on his dead body. Oh well. See you next time (^_^)/
