That is going to be a short post. And you know why? Because almost nothing happened in the episode. Besides talking. Oh, yes, there was a lot of talking.
I don’t want to waste you time with what Pixis were saying, but basically he tried to make people to go out and die and he pretty much succeeded. It was not very impressive though. But ok, we needed that for the story to move forward, so, fine.
Then there was a random girl talking too.
And by that time the episode was almost over. That would have been the most boring and pointless episode on the show so far, if they didn’t put a cliffhanger in the end. What happened was that Eren, after talking his titan form, instead of lifting that incredibly large boulder decided to attack Mikasa.
Now, in the preview they showed that Armin will attack Eren and, as it looks like, kill him. But knowing Armin, there is no way he can do that. Not just he is weak mentally, but also he is weak physically. He had never beaten a normal titan, there is no way he can manage to beat this monster. I bet the whole scene was Armin’s imagination.
So, why did Eren attacked Mikasa? Because he lost control over the titan after using the power the third time on a raw? Or because he did not put enough determination into it this time, and the nature of the titan took over? Or maybe, there is something special about Mikasa that made him attack her? May it be that he was still a little mad at her because she insisted staying by his side and he put this emotion into the titan?
I also wonder if they will ever finish this mission. This city had enough screen time, in my humble opinion. Maybe, if we are lucky, they close the gap in the next episode? We will find out. See you then (^_^)/
