Gintama. Shirogane no Tamashii-hen 2 Episode 11

It turns out, Kanna really is Kagura. She can now transform from being a little girl to an old woman in a matter of minutes. Sorachi hasn’t explained how she manages to do that yet.

I hate the unrealistic pointy chins

Gintama Season 8 Episode 11 (1)

All hail Granny Kagura

I am sure Umibozu would love to learn this trick, turn back into a teenager and flaunt his hair.

Kagura didn’t find a way to heal Sadaharu. She felt bad about returning to Yorozuya without achieving anything. So she lied about being Kagura’s daughter. To be honest, it is an extremely stupid thing to do. Lying about being Kagura’s daughter and causing all kinds of problems to Shinpachi is way worse than admitting that she hadn’t found a way to restore Sadaharu.

Here is a nice picture of Sougo and Kagura being friendly

It is a little amusing how Shinpachi had no idea that Kanna is Kagura but Sougo seemed to see through her lie almost instantly. On the other hand, even if she really was Kagura’s daughter, I am sure he still would have loved to fight her and push her into a corner. He forced Kanna to fight with him and made it impossible for her to defend against him in her little girl form. She had to turn back to her teenage self to protect her life.

Gintama Season 8 Episode 11 (3)

I love these Gintama random faces. See how weird Sougo’s eyes look?

Gintoki was searching for Takasugi. He even drew a nice little drawing of him to show around. Take a look at it.

Gintama Season 8 Episode 11 (4)

I can hear all the Takasugi fans screaming

This episode had a lot of fighting and Gintoki even threw a fit about Takasugi interrupting his serious cool-talk.

Gintama Season 8 Episode 11 (9)

What were you thinking Takasugi? Just let the poor guy finish his serious talk

Here is another interesting piece of news. Apparently, Gintoki can’t swim.

Gintama Season 8 Episode 11 (6)

I am having a difficult time believing this. Remember the time when he got thrown into a river after being mistaken for a father who abandoned his kid? He was floating in the water just fine and holding a conversation with Sougo. He also jumped into the sea to save Katsuo after Pirako shot him. He wouldn’t have survived those ordeals if he didn’t know how to swim, unless he found a random giant dead Shogun life buoy that is.

Gintoki plans on saving Utsuro. He finally found Utsuro’s heart after searching for two years. He is probably trying to revive him. Remember how I said I wanted someone to apologize to Utsuro before killing him off? Reviving him and making him live a normal mortal’s life is way better than an apology. I really hope Gintoki revives Utsuro.

See you next time ^^/

  1. I’m glad to see Kagura back and knowing that there’s still a chance for Utsuro is just the icing. I wonder if we’ll get to see Gintoki and Takasugi working together on this one… that would be something!

  2. The old woman Kagura is the best out all these weird versions :3 She seems to have aged a bit better than Catherine from the 9th episode judging by the pictures you posted ^^
